They are very aggressive looking. Reminds me of some of the Raco 1/4 scale tires from back in the day. They were fatter though.

Great Info as these are on my.list of future tires.
Curious if anyone Balances their tire/wheels? Never raced but I balance even my 1/24 scale stuff. Bearings are cheap but suspension tuning, control and ballooning difference is massive in my experience. For 15-20min of time even for 6 is a no Brainer for me
These weren't too bad but needed some. My Losi 5R were about 50% less But had much less height vs these Kraken TT tires.

Balancing clay.
I balance all of my wheels in everything from 1/10 to 1/5. It’s probably not necessary for off road driving but it does make a noticeable difference.
I use AKA balancing clay and the balancer linked below. Integy products can sometimes be questionable but this one is well made. It can accommodate tires up to 220mm tall.

I have the hudy version of the one dure16 linked. Awesome but to small for heavy 1/5 scale. Perfect for anything but 1//5.
As time goes on you realize I'm a cheap dastardly. I use a Dubro from my plane days. Not wide enough for a 1/5 tire so an old cutting g board works to widen a give a stable platform. I use a 8mm shaft and a old hex to hold the wheel. This setup in stock or my form is very sensitive. If you slighty blow on the wheel it will move.
