Pull Start Cover Problem

well i bought the Outer Wears pull start cover for the HPI Baja for my firehammer but when i went to install it your suppost to untie the pull start rope from the handle but how do you do that its like the rope is built into the pull start handle or does it come apart so how

On the top of the handle is a small cover. Get a small headed screw driver and pop it off of there. look closely and you will see it.

when i done mine i got a long thin allen key tiny one pull the knot out of youre handle then i pulled the cord out from the starter i looped it round allen key so it cant retract its self undo the knot on youre handle the thread cord through outerwares hole then retie pull handle remove allen key from tied up cord and youre done
