At last a HPI Baja 5b body from Proline Racing!

The new Proline Racing Desert Rat is styled after their successful line of Desert Rat truck bodies, the HPI Baja 5b captures the essence of what Desert Racing is all about.

The highlight of the Desert Rat body are the pronounced front windshield area. It’s taller height reduces the amount of dirt and rocks that can hit the filter and/or get lodged inside the chassis. It also assists with keeping the air cleaner, well, cleaner.

FG Modellsport has just released two new pre-painted bodies for their popular FG 1/5th scale on-road cars. Both the FG pre-painted Audi A4 and Mercedes C-Class bodies come pre-painted and all decals already applied as well. Rear spoilers are also included with both bodies.

Now available for the HPI Racing Baja 5B 1/5th scale gas buggy are these new Shock Springs that will help Baja 5B owners tune their suspension to track conditions for better handling. Each HPI spring is color-coded for easy identification and the ends are ground flat so that the surface matches the spring perches. The yellow springs are softer than stock, the blue springs are harder than stock.

HPI now offers pre-painted HPI Baja 5b and HPI Baja 5b SS buggy bodies in three different color schemes. Not only do the new HPI Baja 5b bodies come pre-painted they also come pre-trimmed so all you have to do is apply decals and you’re off to the races! The HPI Baja bodies are sold with upper, lower, and front body panels with the option to buy the lower baja 5b body panels separately.

Proline Racing has just released a new set of HPI Baja 5b Tires called the Badlands! The new Proline Racing Badland tires are made from XTR compound with super firm molded inserts. The tread design of the Proline Badland tires should surely help you tackle any terrain you throw at it!

It’s finally official, HPI Racing has released news that there will in fact be a HPI Baja 5b SS Super Sport large scale rc buggy.

The new HPI Baja 5b SS buggy will include many new features such as it’s new HPI Fuelie 26cc engine which produces more power and torque then the 23cc Fuelie gas rc engine found in the RTR HPI Baja 5b. HPI has also greatly improved the shocks on the new HPI Baja 5b SS buggy by making the shock shafts thicker to help prevent bending, something that was common on the HPI Baja 5b RTR. Heavy duty dog bones are also found on the HPI Baja 5b SS to help handle the added horsepower coming from the new HPI Fuelie 26cc engine. You can now customize your Baja body as the new HPI Baja 5b SS will come with a clear pre-cut body allowing you to paint the baja any paint scheme you want!

FG has just released their harden steel spur gear set which is compatible with their FG Monster Truck / Beetle as well as the FG Stadium trucks. The set includes a harden steel spur gear, alloy gear carrier and all screws needed for install. FG Modellesport is offering three different kits which include either 44, 46, or 48 tooth harden steel spur gear.

FG Modellsport has just released some new tires for their FG Baja Buggy that has just recently been released. Both of the the wide and narrow FG Baja tire sets come pre-glued and can also be used on other large scale rc FG models by using the 14mm square wheel driver (part #: 06106/01).
