Allways good to know a stock models weakness. |

Well I put the spectrim reciever in the truck and had to change out the throttle servo as it would not work.. dont know why I also tried to put in a new hitec steering servo and it wont fit till I make a plate... I will do that soon.. I got to run the rest of the tank out in it and tried to get a good tune.. I have a flat spot that I can not get rid of.. im going to get some fresh gas and see if its just old gas.... the truck is cool im kinda scared on ripping the gears up as the breaks lock up on the cement...But man this thing will stop on a dime!!!!!!!!!!!!

5Tkid,
Hmm.. sorry to hear about the servo. Email me your address and I'll send a replacement out. andrew@cenracing.com Yes the brakes are extremely strong on this truck... I reduce the brake trim on my radio to limit the brakes. I try to set my brakes so that the truck stops within 6-8 feet after applying the brakes. The stock settings literally stops the truck on a dime... lol. |

thanks andrew I was upgrading the servos anyhow...Andrew what are you all running for shock oils and have you upgraded the gears to metal... also just a heads up the two trucks we got from you guys the bodys where cracked from shipping and being smashed onto the body clips... they still work but kinda sucked to do all the paint work take off the clear masking and find a crack at the hole where the body post goes through...I got to run mine for a few laps at our track wich is huge.. it was fun I wish there where more up here for a class...

that sucks the body was broken.
it looks like this truck is a great racer with some tuning to the shocks. put a set of hostile mini mx fronts or mxt on all sides and it should really rip. i wonder if an ss pipe would fit on that if you mounted it sideways ? |
