Hi all I'm Jacob from North Carolina. I am just getting into the large scale scene. I bought a buch of 5Bss parts from a friend of mine. He sold me everything needed to build a 5T minus the upper and lower arms for the rear and the body mounts. And the motor and radio of course. The rear arms I bought were King Motor arms but says compatible with 5B/T. They fit but was just wandering the durability of these. The motor I bought is a built 29cc Fuelie and can't fingure out if its a HPI motor or something else. Other than that I am interested in r/c and always will be so I hope to meet some great people here.

hey Coffin, Great Name? i take it your a Fan of Grandpas (the Munsters) Coffin Dragger?
the KM stuff tends to be weaker in most cases. your best bet is to get some RPM arms. Use the Lower arns, and get some Stock HPI Upper Arms for the rears. Same for the fronts. RPM Lowers and Stock uppers. posts some pics of the motor, and we ll let you know what it is you have.

I like the old Munsters show but no, Coffin is actualy my last name. Yea I know, deadly isn't it. LOL I have so many things that are mis matched on this truck that I don't know if I can consider it an HPI or a Kings motor baja 5t. RPM has always been my choice of parts if available. I guess thats what I will go with when something breaks.
I am on HPI Baja forums as well but thought I would come to this site too since I have some KM baja stuff on my truck. |
