Thanks Al... I am in love with the car. I check the tracking every morning and night. seems my tires have been sitting in a fedex warehouse since the 16th and haven't moved...

I do victory donuts on the track everytime I give it too much throttle LOL... why I drive it alone. afraid of being hit.

that hit wasn't bad actually. just a scuff on the lexan. end of the day I hit the boards at the end of the straight though and stripped my steering servo. we are taking this weekend off to do maintenance to the toys... oh dam, I have 25 mins to load the car and be at work.

so stoked, I am picking up a mini van tomorrow. today is my vibe's last journey with me driving it. had it almost 3 months... need a bigger vehicle so I can pack more rc's

I used 2 boxes of tintex fabric dye. Ritt is another brand. I just boil the water to get it mixed and toss the dye in. then drop the rims in and use a kettle to top the water up. as soon as the water is boiling I turn the heat off and drop the rims in. with black I just leave overnight. with colors it depends. the longer you leave them the deeper the color. and give the pot a little shake now and then or stir things so the dye gets everywhere. sometimes when things touch or there are air bubbles you can miss a spot. easy enough to drop them back in the pot too in a different position. dyes work really well. and the boiling water is good for the rims to help them not crack.

good score on the car and f1 as well soulstice. you'll be happy. I am loving the on road more and more all the time. I rarely use my off road. actually going to mount my stock f1 tires up to the tb2 as it's 4wd so should be a hoot to slide around the track

I finally got those tires mounted and glued. I'll pay someone to do it next time if I can't find pre mounts. it took me most of the day to get them on. my hands are sore, my thumbs are swollen lol. I hated gluing tires before. Now I vow to never glue tires again. I'll pay hobbytek's shipping costs if I have to and don't care if the rims are grey or black... there are 3 beads to glue on the rears. fronts had 2 but had to glue in a ring on front..

and my stock tires on the tb2. have to go back to the stock wheel squares to use them so there's enough axle sticking out
