Howdy ya'll I am curious what you think about building a HPI Baja 5B Flux with a "smaller" power system. Would the lightness offset the reduced power?
For reference, I'm thinking of a MAX6 ESC, paired with the shorter 56mm 750kv sensorless motor.
Paired with 6600mah batteries.
I would use a 200a max6 (G2) kit with the 5690 1100kv sensored motor if I thought I could gear down enough... Does anyone know of larger spur gears yet?
40mph is PLENTY where I am at. My thought is that not only would this keep the initial cost down, everything is more fun when it is lighter... Or am I just getting ready to make a motor/ESC/battery cooker...
