I like it. Looks pretty cool.
Now FG should come out with a long travel suspension kit.
 
may i point something out too fg have said that for the first 2 months it will only be the cars with the clear shell that will be produced as of the amount of back orders
 
That's a good thing whizzy,how many people would like to have had their HPI baja come with a clear body instead of that fuggly factory color scheme:) :cool2:

ive come across one problem that may be you have also seen and that is the wheels if in wet sand or mud or both. The wheels get stuffed up grip realy bad.
Vibrating not good for the dif and suspension give the wheels a tap all ok
But not very good desigen from fg.:nono::hammer:
Im going to try and plug the holes up with something.don't know what yet.:no:

and the design is not really an fg design there are what is known as sld killers they are really just a low profile tyre of the killers i use them on my mcd baja and have never had a problem with them on mud or sand but i normally change to tractors or stock tyres for sand

the holes in the wheels(rims) five of them not the tyres:blush:
 
can you get a picture up of the holes to me they shouldnt be there i know on 1/8th scale tyres you need to put holes in rims to allow air but you don't need them on 1/5ths

these ones. next to the wheel nut 5 of them about 2.5 cm round:blush: look at the back wheels they are a bit dirty on the inside.
this is what i mean where they get stuffed up

ah i see what you are talking about now the 5 big holes on the rim lol yes they do clog up but depends what u are running on i haven't ran my baja on sand yet as i leave that for my mcd my baja is an all out wheelie machine you can buy killers on lauterbacher rims which i run on mcd with no problem whatsoever with the problems you are having

but if you are going to buy a new set id buy a set of these lauterbacher rims with fatal tyres everybody that races are saying these new tyres from sld are the business
