Ok guys went with the CPI!!!!
I keep hearing and reading it's the best all around pipe! 2hp gain!!!!
Next steering servo, carb, clucth and two speed!!!

CPI was a good choice!

Next should be a walbro wt-990, the hitec servos and a killer bee kill switch if you don't already have one of those, and a belt drive or the two speed when that comes out to the public....

Got it today will hoppfully install tonight!
How hard is the carb (wt-990) swap and why should I do it. I have seen some pics of carbs and they have a big spacer/volictystack or something in between the carb and intake:helpsmilie:
If the 2speeds goes on sale I will get this ASAP!!!
Steerig servo and killer bee and chevy tuck body is next.

You may have to flip the gas tank for the CPI. My gas tank was installed on the opposite side from the factory. You have to remove the rear of the truck. Took me about an hour to get it done. She SCREAMS now.... Well worth the trouble.

Well about an hour ago found out that the pipe comes with no gasket!
O well just my luck so I will be ordering one now so about Thrusday I can fire it up!!!!:(

Make sure you check the gas cap and ensure it's on the side you need it on or that install make take longer than expected. Has anyone else experience this? I've got the V3

Got it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!
Love it!!!!!!!!!

How LOUD is it?

I got a pipe that was LOUD - DDM Dominator - for my FG MT.
It worked well, then somebody made the point of just how much of a disturbance it may be for 'non-enthusiasts'.

I finally accepted it's true.
I find the side pipe you've indicated to be really loud in the past.
Great for a while ....

All the tuned pipes are much louder than the stock muffler. They are designed for the sole purpose of developing power. With the Jetpro you can add a silencer when your at the park and don't want to annoy the non-enthusiasts.

Nice job.

Looks solid.

How much power do you lose with the 'muffler' more-or-less?
Does a body cover that?
Looks quite heavy!!

Al.

I don't notice any power loss. That cage added 3lbs. It's chrome moly. It is a beast. It is going to get the 8.2hp OBR this summer.
SC bodies fit. This is the discontinued Asgard body.

That looks GREAT - seriously nice ..

..... then .....

I saw the dreaded word .....

INTEGY !!

Must be a shelf Queen or a really demon driver to avoid every little twig to bend it into a figure 8 !!

I'm not biased !!

Just having a little laugh.

I've had LOADS of Integy stuff, some good, some OK, most LOOK GREAT, but many also bend like paper.

I've even Integy titanium bumpers on my 6S LiPo powered stretched E-Maxx 3906 and they bent when it tumbled!! (Voo's got a video of that somewhere - the original 27MHz radio was glitching ... !!)
