Looks to be str8 from the People's Republic but are these any good? I'm wondering if they're too heavy, strip or lack quality in comparison the Axis Pace or DDM's wheels.
Gtb/fid is generally pretty good quality but I've never had anything by them. Personally, I'd just not get aluminum wheels at all because they are heavy and if it's gets damaged they're way more expensive to replace, I'd just stick with some plastic wheels with reenforced hexes

They look good, just don't eat the lead paint chips off of them. I'm not familiar with RC aluminum wheels yet, but the ones pictured look like the spokes are a little thin.

I would have went with the IRP wheels and Bishop knobby tires. Use locktit and torque the single nut. other that that they look great

Yes that is correct. I just bought the Irp hubs for my Baja and getting tires soon. I just think is a better application with less parts to worry about

I've seen them first hand, they are junk. Axis wheels, or ddm billets hands down. I've owned all them and there the only ones who haven't bent

Hey guys, what's the deal with these MadMax wheels for the 5ive-T: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/MAD...I-5IVE-T-HPI-BAJA-RC-Monster/32788968842.html ?

With Zenoah G320/tuned pipe power?
With RCMax 65cc power?

I really like the look of BRP wheels but I feel the diameter is a little too tiny and throws the look of the car off. These MadMax wheels definitely have a show-off, shelf look to them but I don't want something that can't handle my stock load while bashing. Thanx!
@Gaffle are you going to take one for the team and give us a first hand review or did you go with something else?
I may on the MadMax wheels. Depends on what feedback I get or reviews I can find. I'm not doing the bling wheels unless I go the Axis Race Pace wheel route. They have a mix of Alloy and stock plastics and improved reliability.

they look bad ass and cool, the rear tires will push them no problem. My Conner is the front tires will the servo handle them

theres 7 inch tall brps, id just get them,

Only the spikes come in 7" (190mm) and the rest I believe are about 165mm. Mad max wheels are no good for a bunch of power and are hit or miss as far as quality goes. I have a few buddies that tried to run them and destroyed them quickly with just a obr engine.

You'll need a good aluminum wheel, with the tired glued and beadlocks or BRP wheels to handle a big bore. Again DDM, Axis, or BRP are about your only options. 36625.jpeg20190109_173348.jpg

What glue would u use for gluing the wheel to the tire? I have beadlock tires on my Baja and they will pop on break in probably so I wanna glue them
