Let's see some stuff you've made through machining!

I guess you can throw fabricating in as well but I'm definitely not a fabricator and can't do anything beyond stick weld ?

I have however been a machinist since I was 17 years old. I'm 32 now. I've made parts for Airbus, Spirit,Lockheed Martin,Raytheon,Nasa,SpaceX and of course lots of the US government.
Plus 10 years in the oil industry including offshore

I don't have tons of photos cause lots of companies don't allow cell phones past the door, it's immediate termination.


Custom bronco hubs I did yesterday on the manual

Railroad wheel 8"

Roller for golf course machine

Some iron man and skulls I did on our 4 axis horizontal, I did the modeling and programming too. The iron man and skull were from 8" solid 6061, the smaller two are 3" from 7075

Last photo is off an F35. Somewhere in the cockpit. I had the blueprint but it deleted off my phone somehow a year ago.. ??

Oh and I found a photo from an AC110 warthog (tank killer) it had something to do with the actual 20mm cannon assembly. I don't remember the aluminum type but it was extremely hard. It was made on a DMG 125 dublock 5axis

Working on the impulsiveness lol more so extremely anxious. I have crazy freaking anxiety that makes it hard to breathe 99% of the day. It's like waiting for the biggest day of your life to come every single second of every single day.. ..and it never comes.

I'm on meds tho and it's helping ??‍

Very nice! What kinda steel yall mess with? We don't do much exotics here mainly 1018 and 1144 ?? it's a breeze compared to inconel and hastelloy tho!
All of our dies were hardened P20 tool steel ??‍

Occasionally we'll do some 316 stainless but it's few and far between.
Looks like you mess with alot of castings. That poop is a nightmare ??‍ bonus is you get a break on tolerances usually cause the variances in material ?

We do deal with castings quite a bit...
Materials are mostly aluminum 6061 and 1018 and 4140 steel. Very rarely G2 and inconel.
I deal with Bakelite also for the wheels we produce for the oil industry.
Most tolerances are a breeze up to .005 in some cases.

Nice! Ya typical tolerances daily are +/-. 005 up to. 01

Aerospace had alot of tight corners and dimensions called off of multiple datum points so blueprints were a nightmare. And alot of bushings and slip fit pieces that mated so, an individual piece could have +. 0003 - 0 pretty frequently. I had good hole mics before hurricane ? Harvey got em

Well, here is some of the stuff I've made.
My most recent, and probably not necessary, an engine brace for my current Baja.

Cdi bracket for the 70cc


70cc adjustable ignition system (overcomplicated but was a pretty smart design if I do say so myself)

Made some other small things like engine mounts and stuff but that's not exciting.

The parts that are used in machining is more precise & calculated an the material is usually a mill or a block of!

I just make brackets & better braces for my RC's out of plating!
