Bone stock 700 with or without motor,?

Seen it both ways. I mean the stock engines are worthless basically unless were talking g320 or something.

It seems clean rollers fetch just as much as if they had a standard engine in them

Ok, if I got summin with an engine for 700 I could sell off the poop engine to recoup some $$ and drop my obr in ?

Weeeell I might have went crazy cleaning ? freshend up all my de Anodized aluminum ? I also found some oil in my clutch carrier, possibly from the bearings, so maybe that's why the clutch got so hot

Damn it's so clean ? makes me wanna keep it now ?‍♂️?
The oil on your clutch carrier will be the grease from your bearings caused by the clutch getting so hot.
The bearings might be toast now but could possibly be repacked with grease

It’s better to not pack bearings with grease. pop the dust shield off and clean them, then all you have to do is add like 2 or 3 drops of machine oil. It will cause less friction and never leak out onto other components

Is this true in all bearing applications? Ive always packed my bearings on my larger machinery. Timken bearings always recommended it in the literature.

That doesn’t apply to all bearings, When I was in the service we would pack large bearings for like wheel hubs or anything similar with grease. Small enclosed bearing with dust shields especially bearings that benefit from low friction thresholds I’ve never packed with grease. A bearing in a 1/5 is much closer to a bearing in a skateboard than it is to something in a car or large piece of machinary
