Just a little driving and lite bashing from yesterday. Was going pretty good until
I thought my gears went out. Got it home and saw a rock was wedged
in between two gears...Replaced one gear and it's ready to go again...:D

Nice video editing mate and some very controlled driving too.....makes a change to not seeing flat out full throttle everywhere.

Thanks....

Full throttle is fun but so is climbing and watching the suspension do it's job..:)

Looks like you had some good fun!!!

I also like you video editing...(the intro and title..etc) Very well done!

Great Vid Evil :cool2:

Nicely edited and put together - i cant wait to get my rampage up and running now :)

You'll love it...which Rampage did you buy?

Just make sure you go through the pre-run checklist before you fire it up.
Don't want your fun to end early because of something silly like a screw that
was not tightened with Lok-Tite. :)

Climbing rocks. i can sit at a big hill of dirt for an hour trying to climb the same side. Weird huh?:clown:

Not weird at all my friend...:D

I would've stayed out there longer but a rock got jammed in one of my gears
and ended my day early...That's with the gear cover on, don't know how
some guys run without it and not shred them?

I bought the MT Pro :cool2:

I've fitted a HPI air filter and dual redneck which has caused throttle linkage issues - so had to make my own up but the throttle isn't quite as smooth as i would like so need to work on this a little more.

I've bought a set of 4 Mootilizer diff cups too, as he's over in the uk tomorrow visting family he's kindly going to post them to me from uk - he's a good un :)
So will get them fitted and put some 50,000 wt oil in the diffs

I need to upgrade the steering servo's too but may have to wait till next pay packet for that - luckily i had a Hi-Tec ultra torque in my spares box that i shoved in as the throttle servo.

Shell has being sent off for air brushing should be back in a week - gone the an STP oil treatment theme - also going to get onto sickboy about a bug shell as all 6 of my rc's i've managed to get a beetle shell on :clown:
yes ............. yes, i admit it im a vudub holic and need help :clown::clown:

I have your cups in my suitcase:)...
just a heads up mini...the stock steering servo may last a gallon or 5mins...it's a crap shoot with those GWS servos and all sound like there's rocks inside them...
also the stock shells crack when you sneeze on them...if you're spending money on a paint job then buy some of the drywall fibreglass joint tape and a tube or 2 of goop, shoogoo, autogoop (not sure if it's in UK under those names) and reinforce the shell on the inside with a couple of layers of tape and plenty of goop...stuff works awesome, without it first roll over and your shell will break..I guarantee it:no:

When you do apply the tape and goop, do it really really really well around any curves. I missed a couple and where I missed, it cracked.

We get shoegoo over here, im unsure what sort of tape you guys mean

Will duck tape work, as that has fibre thingy's running through it

I persume you slap goo onto the inside of the shell then tape over the top of it

Thanks for all the heads up, minxy a grateful lassy :)

Looks kinda like this:

I just cut strips, stuck it down and then slathered the goo all over it. I'm sure any hardware store would have it.
