If you read other threads, Super654 puts FG2500 in, which we reckon is PROBABLY 25 000 or '25 weight' in nitro language.
Bigger the Better reckons 50 (000) front, 60 rear (or vice versa for others).
I'm actually going to completely rebuild my alloy shocks and fit O-ring sealed FG 'Tuning' pistons, so that may move the ball park onto the moon!!
I THINK I'll try either FG3000 or FG4000 - I've got both!
Confused? I am also !! All part of the fun I suppose! :)

Sounds quite 'well damped' - don't reckon it's too stiff?
I see you have quite firm springs on also - red front, blue rear?
I'm going to play, but hearing so many 'higher mileage' users, like yourself and BtB using high weights, looks like I can go higher ... we'll see.

I've gone for FG4000 front, FG5000 rear, but I've the long bodied alloy shocks, and I've just fitted the shorter option shafts, alloy pistons, and rebound springs - if I do get a little carried away, the shocks are safe (would be anyway with shorter shafts, but they're on anyway!!
Now to fit them ..... !!
Bling ahoy.
Oh, and I've got the bottom alloy shock mounts for the front !!

No Atom,the truck in the first page is Super654's.I'm just using standard FG springs with two hole pistons,I did put lighter oil in but it was bottoming out over jumps.I also use the same combo in me Leo and that works too!

Don't tell Trebor, but I've put 4000 front and 5000 rear. Experiment is in using short shafts on the long bodies ... :clown::clown:

Yes definately the best I have ever seen :cool2::cool2: How often do you get out wit the marder keith? Looks like it has a full strip down clean after every run. You will have to bring it out when we all meet up 1 weekend :cool2:

All these upgrades on top of an ultimate....this has tobe the ultimate ultimate MCD Baja 1000.....would love to see her with the top off Trebor....

By the way i think the wheel combo you have gone for really sets it off and suits the body shell.:)
