losi dbxl bogging problems

i recently bought a losi dbxl and since its my first 5th scale i don't know alot about these cars. i have been having some problems with the engine because it bogs every time i give it a bit of throttle does anyone have any ideas why it would be doing this?
 
When it first came out, the DBXL was famous for having OVER-oiled air filters which were blocking the flow / ingress of air into the engines.
A tune-up, as mentioned, is imperative, but I would clean and re-oil the air filter first.

i have just richened the low end needle and the fixed the problem but i did try the air filter first and it didnt work
