Yes it's a straight $5 fee if you keep the balance unpaid each month.
My minimum is $25 a month and $20 of that goes to unpaid balance.

It's better than a credit card....
Interest is more than 5 bucks a month.
I didn't say credit cards were better, but I certainly don't like the idea of giving this company my bank account. Once you link something your bank account using a routing and account number there is no way to unlink it other then to create a whole new bank account as those two bits of info never changes otherwise.

Buying RC's (or much of anything at that matter) on credit - um no thanks. Why would I want to drag out payments on something that most of us are going to take out and bash the heck out of it. Heck at least with credit cards you could earn points back and only that makes sense if you're paying off in full each month.

I'll stick with my debit card.

Enjoy this hobby. One time charge or payment plan....doesn't really matter which way you decide to go...as long as you are ok with it, you are ok with it.

Just like Woodiest don' like the idea of my financial floating around like that, if I buy something rc or other, just pay the full amount and be done with it.

Interest will be $5.00 as long as less than 500 are on the account.
I would not, either I pay it in full or simply cant have it.

But to each its own...

Woodie is wise, trust the Woodie. Yea, he's right, better to pay it off and not have to worry about any payments. If you crash it up the first week, you still have to pay for it.

Woodie is absolutely correct, that is an incredibly horrible idea.

Plain and simple save up.

I have to jump in and say that saving would definitely be the best idea.
Look for decent used models as well, because there are some fantastic deals to be had at times.

It would not hurt to open a wanted ad on CL in your local area and who knows... someone may respond.

I have done similarly for pocket bikes, and you'll be amazed, stack up on spare parts and bike chassis quick. Had a few projects, but that is all memory, my pb days are a thing of the past. Its 5th scale now je je...
