UPDATE***So I just ended up cutting the brace and fitting it in there, doesn't look pretty and I hope it holds up...I'll be looking for an aluminum brace moving forward......thanks for the help..lol

Doesn't need to be pretty. I had to do the same to the alloy servo tray on my rig for both my steering and throttle/brake servos. Was a pia to file down just those few mm.

I had the same issue previously , lhs sorted it out, ill see if i can find a part number or something when i get home

I had the same problem with my king motor Baja steering servo. I got a hitec 1/4 servo and was too big. I had to cut 1/8 from the plastic frame and drilled 2 new holes for it. Fits like a glove.

It's funny that one is bigger because I just bought a hitec throttle servo to replace in my rovan and it was smaller and I had to make a few adjustments for it to fit.

For real?

The servo mount is sold in many online stores, its about $20 or so depending on the demand.
