Losi released the diff brace w the 5B, and completely forgot about the 5T, even the new ones don't have it. I learned the hard way and now need to submit another DDM order for Vertigo clutch carrier, clutch bell, brace.

Nice, I bet must have been tons of fun bashing it to extreme. I do leave them like that every once in a while because I don't have time, but at least I do spray w WD40 the bearings, dog bones, cups...

I am waiting for my Booster pipe, want to compare it to the Dominator to see which gives the more bang at mid to top end, unfortunately the Dom does not fit the 5B.

Yes thought that was weird too ,I'm slowly accumulating a lot of 5ive t parts and will start another big bore build this summer .
Its an absolute ball bashing this as I bash it with 3 other 5ive b's , I do the exact same thing when its dirty and I don't have time ,just lubricate the drive train to ensure it'll keep rolling smooth . waiting on my engine should arrive tomorrow or on Thursday http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/58becba028bff/VID_44800115_225740_921.mp4

Was it you just drove it without the shell?

How stable it is when jumping the buggy?

I am curious if the shorter chassis has the same effect as the DBXL, that is way unbalanced when jumping it.

If at all, the buggy should be the one w less dirt as its well protected. On the 5T/X2, or whatever mine is now, the roll cage does not help at all. Made some custom plastics for now, have the TC mud guards which have not installed yet.

No I ran it with a shell . its very stable when jumping watch one of the following links in my previous posts where I'm jumping the buggy ,when the buggy is in the air it feels very very balanced . the mid was entering the shell as I have the front window completely cut out among with some side vents to aid cooling for the engine and exhaust

I am not going to download a video.

Upload to Youtube to a generic RC channel etc. Photobucket is ok for pics but not for video.

Good to hear that Losi fixed the balance issue.

EDIT:

From my mobile phone it asks me to download, but not from a desktop computer.

Both videos are the same, pretty cool, some guy screaming, LOL, he is way too excited, ja ja, I know the feeling, he got caught in the moment. The video don't do justice on how rad large scale looks when jumping. The location is like the backyard of some golf course etc.

Well the engine arrived today along with a blackbone bell and pinion courtesy of Lee Watson . the engine is a Scott finlay g320 evolution. And a ddm quick release throttle linkage /c56671bb2779d37a6c95f62d2cab6cd3.jpg[/IMG]IMG_20170309_164205.jpgIMG_20170309_164155.jpgIMG_20170309_164216.jpgIMG_20170309_164055.jpgIMG_20170309_164036.jpg

Is it me or this is a used engine?
The least I can say is slap that baby and upload videos once done. The yellow bottom end looks super cool, have not seen one in that tone yet.
(not bashing on your engine, etc) I saw some videos of that same engine and the RC is difficult to drive, on 5Ts and 5ives, and videos from the builders themselves.
Its an ON/OFF switch, as if there is no powerband, but hey, its your cash money flow.
(Just talking from all the videos I have seen so far)
Standing by for carnage pictures.

Yes it is a used engine bought off a friend new these engines retail around £750gbp + anodizing cost . will be putting this beauty of an engine in tomorrow or Saturday but need to get rid of two stripped screws holding the rear wing mounts in . I'm also rebuilding all 3 shocks and all 3 diff's . alot of work this weekend

Very good pics, a little disorganized for my taste, but its cool.

The diffs are filled to the pin cross-hairs, not top it off.

Overall, the 5B is having major surgery.

Awesome rebuild and even more impressive is how you bash the crap out of the 5ive B.
That motor sure is purdy.
Is your header pipe for the new one similar to your old pipe? Should work out if so.

I'm currently not working on my buggy or hybrid as I'm studying for my exams and will be back to the builds in 2months or so . I've also sent my engine off to Scott finlay for a complete rebuild .
I've just bought for the buggy
Spektrum s9020 to switch the steering to single servo
Proline lockdowns with silverback headlocks and rims
Flm front Losi 5ive brace
Will be ordering some more bits so when I do the rebuild at the end of June she will be ready for 2 months of consistent beatings
