Looks sharp! Are those GPM rims? All aluminum or nylon and aluminum?

They're just cheap nylon chrome HPI rims. I haven't found the aluminum rims that I like yet. I've heard aluminum rims are kind of heavy. I've added more weight than I wanted to, just wanted another look.

GPM makes an aluminum/ nylon rim. Not heavy at all. I'm gonna order a set. Full aluminum is great for a shelf car.

Thanks Paul G. I just looked those up and they look decent. Plastic /aluminum I like better than all alloy, should be lighter. Looks like the alum part of the rim is pressed into the plastic. I don't see a good pick to see how they are made. The rims take a lot of torque at that joint. With enough metal to play with, that can be remedied. Ordering a set today, Thanks

Not really a shelf queen. Just all put back together after a good cleaning, new shock boots and decided to add a cage for a different look. Next few weeks I will see how well it holds up.

My GPM rims came in this week. All I could find were the red anodized one, a really bad red at that. I removed that and polished a little bit. Along with a good cleaning up for the next outing.IMG_0017.JPG
