hi everyone,

I’m new here. I just bought a new Losi 5ive-T with AVC. I am upgrading everything before I run it. All PhatDad driveline stuff, RCMax’s full 7075 version of 7075’s Pro Am Chassis, the 7075 RC Pro Am Front and Rear Diff housings, Billet CNC everything, upgraded servos, Crazy Stu’s locker in the center diff, I can go on for days with all the Upgrades. But to the point. I want to use this Hitec Lynx 4S Transmitter with its 4 ch receiver with drop down option, telemetry, GPS and stuff. I have no idea how to integrate it into my system when I get there, especially with the AVC and all.

Does anyone have any idea how to integrate a different radio and receiver into the truck? I have the killer Bee Kill Switch, I have everything believe me. OBR’s 47cc engine kit for this truck, Blackbone pinion and spur gear 30/56 with the required 18 Vertigo spacers. Like i said I can go on for days, but I just want to know how to fully integrate this transmitter and receiver fully. If anyone know where there’s a video how to, or a written toutorial on how to do this, it would help greatly. Thank you in advance for any help!!!

Justin

The AVC is in the Spektrum reciever. Since you are using the Hitek Lynx, you're probably gonna have to take the Spektrum reciever out and replace it with the Hitek reciever that came with you radio.
No Spektrum reciever in the 5ive T means no AVC so no worries about intergating it cause the AVC will not exist on your 5ive anymore.

I don't think i know anyone that actually uses the AVC on the 5ive. There are issues with the 4 ch Spektrum recievers w/AVC not playimg well with kill switches(kill switch is WAY more important than the AVC). Everyone i know with a 5ive either swapped out the AVC reciever with a Spektrum one that didnt have AVC, or disabled the AVC altogether, or swapped the rx/tx for another brand.

Thanks so much WhoDuh!!! That helps a lot!
Thanks a lot GameFan and T2Boats! I’ve had many RC cars and Trucks, but this will be my keeper, I’m $4500 into it already, but only the best replacement parts.
While I’m here, anyone have suggestions for very good brake setup, and the best shocks. I have a set of Hard Anodized GTB Shocks, and the brakes I have the Axis Quich change setup, and I have the Modified Booted brake setup. Why did MIP Discontinue all Losi 5ive-T items. Their real brake setup seemed ver nice, but I would have to modify my Modified center diff mount to install that setup.

Thanks again guys!!!

Oh by the way it’s funny, my name does look like cobra haha. But it’s really NYC, OBR, 47cc, 5iveT. Easy mixup though. Lmao

TLR 5ive B brake system uses pads...way less expensive than the MIP'S were...TLR system is only like 70 bucks....comes stock on the 5ive B. I haven't heard anything bad about them yet...
