A large-scale RC car and truck magazine can be possible if we take the best posts on this forum and make an online magazine out of them; one that can be downloaded as PDF copies. Contents-wise, it can be as the categories are right now. With the amazing pictures that are posted on this forum, it will be pictorial hit and won't be lacking of Readers' Rides. Ultimately, a magazine like what I envision can be an invaluable technical resource for large scale RCers, especially those new to the hobby.

I subscribe to the RC CAR ACTION magazine. And anyone who goes through them won't find a lot of articles in the fifth scale category. They are far and in-between.

I am a professional writer along with being a rabid rc enthusiast for the past 30 years, and would jump at any opportunity to contribute just for the love of RC.

Hello Harold! I would love to be able to subscribe to a 5th scale RC car magazine. I fear there just are not a lot of people that own these beasts, so the demand is still low.

That would be great idea if you can do that and I would subscribe to it and I think that there will be a lot of people would. Even better if you can do it in like a e magazine subscriptions.

Hey, Andy, my entire pitch is pointed to a large-scale magazine growing directly out of what we have going on here, collectively. I am hoping that the administrator/s of this forum tosses the idea around. I'm not thinking of doing this alone, and would only consider such a project if, after a period of time has passed, nothing, from a group perspective, develops from it.

But you have the appropriate idea: a simple yet dynamic magazine that one can have an e-subscription to.

But let's see how the discussion goes.

I would love to see a 5th scale magazine. I stopped subscribing to RC Car Action due to the lack of 5th scale, gas, and nitro articles. This would be great!
 
Sounds to me like something that would spark the interest of many. Speaking personally, I didn't even know 1/5 scale were out there until I stumbled across some YouTube videos about 6 months ago. I believe the magazine would be a great avenue for skeptics to really see what it's all about. You might be on to something here Harold!!!
