Hey everybody, new to 5th scale and having trouble. Bought a new DBXL and immediately upgraded to a G320. Have dynamite kill switch installed too. Having no luck getting this thing started. Got spark, smelling fuel, rechecked carb settings, switched sparkplug, tried choke/no choke with not even a pop from this motor. What is the problem??

Pull the plug give it a few pulls on the starter reinstall the plug no choke couple two-four pulls should have it running, if not. Choke it for 2 pulls through compression choke off and a sharp pull or two should get it. If not something could be wonky on the idle speed setting.

Feel like I've tried just about every scenario but can't hurt to try again. Appreciate the help guys.

I've had very good luck with my zen engines seems it would be quite rare to get a bum one, most likely something small, settings or technique.

Have you tried a squirt of starter fluid thru the air filter?
That should get her going if you've got spark and you can tune it from there.

Haven't tried that one. Will give it a shot....literally. Thx for the continued suggestions.

Check the coil gap (0.012"), check plug gap(0.025 "), new plug if u have one,up the tick over needle, prime with fuel, operate throttle when pulling over slowly to get fuel into head, heat spark plug up on hob (don't burn fingers), if its flooded leave it to evaporate with plug out for 10 mins.
If its new the compression will be huge so pull slow till just over TDC then fast pull or pull start wont last long.
Cheers
Dave

Success! Took the kill switch out put it all back together and what do u know, fired right up. Will order a new switch I guess. Thx everybody for all the help.

Guess I can't say for sure. Install seems pretty straight forward. Radio's 3rd channel would turn the red status light on and off. Anything else to look for? Hate to tear it all apart again just to install a bad switch. Thoughts?

I have the same engine and kill switch. With the radio and the truck on, the kill switch lite should be on, and you should have spark. The 32 sucks fuel and need a 1107 carb to run correctly, don't forgot to gap the plug to 7mm or .028
I use 25:1 and 92 0ctain with royal purple 2 stroke oil. Prime the fuel bulb until there is enough fuel in it. Put the choke on and pull until you get the first pop, remove the chock pull till it start. don't give it any gas and adjust the idle screw

I am having the exact same issue unfortunately. I don't think ordering a new one will do any good seeing how several people have had this problem putting myself. I have a FlySky radio and everything works properly with the channel 3. If I hit the button the light will go off if I hit it again the light will come on. I have watched several videos on this installed over again several times and the only way my buggy will run as if I unplug the kill switch. Help please

The problem is the flysky radio, their cheap and don't work will kill switches. I had the same problem. I up graded to a futaba 4 PLS. The dynamite kill switch works great in all parameters and I installed a glitch buster to take care of the noise with the servos. There about 200 bucks but you will be able to run your truck. I had the same problem and finally broke down and bought it. I can now really enjoy my toy. If you by the futaba I will help you set up the kill switch. With the dynamite kill switch you don't have to change the setting on it , I believe only if you run lypo batteries. good luck
