Should I buy ally hubs or castor blocks?

So I'll jump in here... but I will mention the caster blocks would most likely come afterwards. I put the alloy hubs on first because I wanted a stronger slightly wider stance. That put mor stress on the knuckles so I had to get alloy knuckles. The non standard bearing wasn't too hard to find. But i live in the states

I ran extended hexes for a year on my trucks no problem with the plastic hub carriers. In five years owning a Losi and Rovan I have e never broken nor worn out a plastic hub carrier. I was however wearing out caster blocks and king pins, and even brand new parts are sloppier than the bearing equipped blocks. I guess it depends on way you are upgrading but my theory is, if it don't make me faster, make maintanance easier, or reduce slop I have no use for it
