Our 240v outlets would be 2 hots and a ground or 2 hots a neutral and a ground. For us that would be a 115v plug. Here is a females plug ?? earth at to top live left neutral right live ?? 15 amps I think ?View attachment 60909View attachment 60910
blue=nurtal....brown=live.....yellow/green=earth?we have 3 pin plugs and 240volts here in UK homes?
So meter leads from live to earth is what? 115v or 220v?blue=nurtal....brown=live.....yellow/green=earth?
Sounds more efficient than 120v outlets here in US. The higher the voltage, the lower the amperage needed to work the appliance. ?Just more dangerous to have throughout the house tho. Curious, then what are your electric dryers, 440v?

3 phase here is 415 voltsWouldn't that make it technically what delta 3ph 380v? Or something along those lines

So are you saying when you put a meter on the hot and ground you get 220v? And what about between neutral and ground?
I have a borehole pump and its 3 phase??
It shouldn't cut the power when you put a meter between line voltage and ground/earth. Both neutral and ground share the same ground reference. In fact many home panels land both neutral and ground wires on the same ground bar. Neutral is also bonded to ground at the transformer before entering the dwelling. As long as it's a single phase circuit, you should get the same voltage between line/active and neutral and also on line/active and ground. Is the states AC or DC?

I get 240 on a meter between active and nuetral.
If you put it between active and earth the safety switch cuts the power,
For what it's worth I have the dx5c and it works perfectly with the truck. The receiver that comes in it is not an avc receiver and I run the killer bee killswitch with no issues, you just have to set it up and bind properly. Let us know if you have questions when you get there. Other than that, as you said the lipo is a bit small but if you can get two tanks out it's still a lot of driving, big difference from nitro tanks! From what I'm hearing, the radio will be a hit or miss and the 2400 mah venom might get me two tanks between charges if I'm lucky. Well since the battery arrived today and the radio shipped today, I suppose I'll make do and prepare for those to be one of my first upgrades. This stuff is just a tease anyway since im having to wait for the 5t to be back in stock! It took me two years to justify the purchase now it's out of stock.
Thanks for getting the thread back on track! I'm used to driving a rustler with the traxxas version of avc, how hard is the 5t to drive with no assist? For what it's worth I have the dx5c and it works perfectly with the truck. Depends on your experience level with RC I suppose, but I think it drives super easy. It's big and takes the small stuff without flinching so it holds a line really well. I've been driving mine on a small local track and due to the weight and size it's super predictable and a ton of funThanks for getting the thread back on track!
