Rovan made a 5ive T clone, I guess it’s closer to a 5ive B. I made it into an electric converted Big Joker.
Updated brakes Motor and Steering.

 
I've been contemplating picking up something in this range a while. I don't like the 5ive v3 so I was thinking about one of the rovan or 30dn clones.

What don’t you like about the 3.0?

Pro of the Rovan mechanical disc brakes

Con drivetrain is not straight like the 3.0

Cheaper though. And the 3.0 only hitting sub 50 in 12S, not ideal.
 
I prefer gasers in 1/5 scale. Every battery problem I've seen has been on high cell count setups.
