the only place you'll read that the redcat/himoto are better than the dbxl is the redcat fanboy forum...simply isn't true. you get what you pay for and in this industry it applies heavily losi bought the dbxl from rcmk with their own spec's so i'd expect quite a few parts will be the same

just cos of the lag, and thump of a single cylinder creates pulses in the turbo charge the mini is pretty much a 5ive just with shorter a arms,turnbuckles, different wheels and body/cage .. you can see the 5ive r parts listed in the link, looks like the rest of it are 5ive parts...

i find varsol is quickest and easiest to clean the filter then once dry use a good MX filter oil that is sticky...i use belray but there are a few others out there just as good
