    King Motor 002 29 or 002 30.5 REV

Go with the 30.5 ..it will give more torque and you can gear it up for more speed.

    Porting Templates

I have done the jb weld on the transfer bowls to remove the excess case volume as well as inside of the piston. It works but there is always the chance of it coming apart and causing damage! If it's a poop engine for experimental purposes trial and error can be rewarding if you port the head the...

    Cylinder head gasket

You can use threebond but it's not necessary... Cooper is soft and will seal well.

30cc rc rampage mt won't start

It sounds like a carb tuning issue.. Make sure the idle screw is where it needs to be... Just for shits do the 1 1/2 high and 1 1/4 low and a good 1 full turn in on the idle screw. The carb is a wt668 equivalent. Don't worry about ripping the engine apart. It's all in the carb

    King Motors Baja pipe

Yeah it was... I cut the can off and found that there was a 3/16 hole that separated the expansion chamber from the can with the duel bleeds.. It was choking the hell out of my FM. I did cut off the can and welded a stinger to the expansion and woke it up.

    King Motors Baja pipe

I have run the Thor pipe, Dom clone and the VRC clone side pipe and found the Thor to be the worst... Dom was the best bottom end mid power and the VRC style pipe was the best for mid to top end. I have the v1 clone on the buggy and side pipe on the truck and the Thor in the trash!

    Pull start

I'm assuming that the cord keeps sticking out or it won't engage the fly wheel...It is most likely dirty and needs a good soap and water bath. Relube it when it's dry ..

New to Bajas, couple of questions...

Set your end points so your steering stops before it hits.. It's a common problem that can be fixed with your radio.. Looks like a sweet rig.

    Rovan?

I had one on my Rampage Xb that worked well. Packing the drill around gets to be a hassle and if you leave it in the garage when you head out to run away from home your screws.

What's w/ All These New Solid Axle Trucks Coming Out?

I'm willing to bet you will see more rock racing than anything else.. The thing is cool but the handling just isn't there for most common tracks you see or race on.

    King Motor Roller Build?

I did the same thing... Get the cheep roller and build what I want! Went from a buggy to a truck then got another buggy for the old lady and now she wants to convert it to a Baja bug.

    King Motor Roller Build?

I did the same thing about a year ago..I try not to put too much aluminum on my cars so when things break like shock towers or suspension arms I replace it with hpi and never had issues again. I have been real happy with my roller powered by a 30.5 FM and can't kill the car lol.
