What are the most have upgrades?

chassis braces, tires, fix the steering servo lead. Make sure its not pinched. The stock motor works, if I could do it all over that would be my last upgrade. I also changed the center diff mount to all aluminum and the carier bearings are in a aluminum mount. Eventually mine will mostly be...

Area Rc New 1/5 Rally Car collecting the name now

I was only thinking rear solid axle, not front. I'm thinking of Baja racers, they have unmatched performance in any style of car for the terrain. Like the axial yeti, it seems to work. And why is it a difficult hub design?

ya know what would be sweet....

the yeti 1/8 is close, still to small for me. I might get one because but I love the 1/5th scale size. I also don't mind electric but I like gas for big scale better.

ya know what would be sweet....

yeah I have looked. That is a super cool project. Bad news is its not a commercialy sold setup. Even if I could buy the complete axle I could modify enough to fit my dbxl.

ya know what would be sweet....

what I wish existed is a 5th scale gasser that had a independent front suspension and a solid rear axle! Kinda like a big boy version of the vaterra twin hammer. It seems with a rear axle that was solid it would be easy to make it bullet proof. And less of a headache.. And it would be more scale...

    Diffs and Shocks

I run diff oil from my atv's in my diffs, its super light. I got tired of breaking stuff with my obr 30.5 prostock. Still handles good enough for a non racer. I also run 7k in my shocks. And I get just at 20 min on one tank.

    quick question on engine temp

swapped to the 990. Took only a couple minutes of adjusting and doing high speed runs to get it dialed in. No its running like at bat outta hell!!! And staying at 240-265. It is only 40 out so its a little cool

    quick question on engine temp

so I broke my obr prostock 30.5 in according to the instructions on YouTube. All went well. Now I'm tuning it for regular high speed running and I can't seem to get it right. If I turn hsn to where it doesn't sputter on wot it gets to 310 degrees... I'm trying to keep it under 290 but it just...
