normally the yellow or see through line is on top of carb so you can see the fuelreturning to the tank,the black line is normally on the bottom of the carb with the filter on it in the tank which is the pick up line. there is an in tank filter available with ears so it sucks up every last drop...

looks asthough the pinion bolt has loosend off and the the bearing has ridden forward so the pinion gear isnt sitting on its "shoulders" properly

take the plug out,attach the ht lead,rest it against the head and pull the pull start ,you should be able to see a spark

check there is a spark at the spark plug itself,is the carb set at factory settings,is the fuel cap breather hole not blocked

i thought it was normally a female that plugged into a receiver ?
