I have a Shop compressor so I’m good there. As to silicone spray lube, will any brand work?

Anyone spray theirs down with Simple Green then wash and blow with compressed air? I see folks doing that on other scale rigs. Also what do you use afterwards? I was told not to use WD40 rather use silicone spray lube. I can’t get GT85 here in Florida.

I used a piece of stainless steel bar stock I had. Cut to length, drilled the holes and rounded one end. Attached with stainless hardware in my parts bin. Solid and looks decent. Sorry for the potato pics. My DIY lexan panels so far

I indeed do just that. I trimmed a half inch off the header pipe the get the pipe in just the right place. As to the rear mount, I am working on a plate or so to secure it to the rear mounting.

I got the rx battery finally and set up the DX5C tx with the truck. Everything is trimmed up nice and the servos are nice and crisp in response. Only issue I have is the throttle servo is whining. If I tweak (move) the steering a little bit it stops but after moving either servo it comes back...

Now for the panels
