The only issue with a conversion is you still have to much weight for any good run times. My friend has a DBXL converted to electric on a 12s lipo system and he gets about 8-10 min hard run times. Plus the money he has in lipos wow I could buy a nice OBR engine. The new DBXL-E has shaved weight...- McFlyz

Well $h-t.....I have a brand new KN DBXL sitting right in front of me, never seen one spec of dirt and now this comes out. Now I have to sell the gas one so I can get electric one. Maybe I will run into some cash and own both? For now its on CL, that electric one looks so sweet.- McFlyz
