Selling all my R/C stuff at once?

Hi guys, I got into the hobby starting three years ago and I absolutely loved it. I acquired a bunch of electric and gas vehicles, along with a lot of parts and accessories. What I didn't realize was the time commitment to do this hobby right. I've got small kids and escalating job...

Bought a Brand New Rovan 5B and it sucks

Best comment of 2018 so far. Peace man!

Super charger for 36cc 2 stroke? I want more power.

I bought that motor from them. It's a fantastic motor although unfortunately I accidentally killed mine when it inhaled sand. Working with O'Neill brothers was great: responsive and professional at all times. I'll be replacing my motor with the same one next month. Sent from my iPhone using...

    Zenoah G290

I replaced the CY motors in my Losi 5T and two KM clones with zenoah 290 and 320. Bulletproof and very torquey with the right pipe. You can't go wrong with zenoah and the 290 is probably their best.

    T1000A Zenoah 290 upgrade

I've never dealt with RCMK stuff -- only CY and Zenoah, and a modified Zenoah that came from OBR.

DO I NEED TO RESET MY CARB NEEDLES WITH A TUNED PIPE?

Yes. There are many guides for tuning. Here's a good one:

    Convert KM truck to buggy?

Cool. My T1000A is still in pieces on the shelf -- that buggy conversion is still on my list of upcoming projects. In the mean time I bought a $349 KM buggy roller and stuck a 320RC + KM sidewinder pipe in it and it's an absolute dream!

    Cheap Roller Build

This feels like the ideal balance to me. Definitely has that old-school RWD sports car vibe (427 AC Cobra maybe?) in that it has gobs of torque (320RC + that cheap pipe work incredibly well together) that can be used to break the back end loose with the slight flick of the throttle, but in a...

    Body work on 5ive?

Hi MGP - is 30N still in business? I can't find them for sale online, and their Facebook page stops more than a year ago...

    Cheap Roller Build

The motor I had in the Losi up and died on me (finally succumbed from the saltwater / sand intake back in July) and my original KM T1000A is still in pieces (that was the truck that actually went into the sea water). My X-Maxx jammed up the steering after a nasty collision (in for repair at...

    Killer RC switch problems...

I think it's more than likely my fault for stressing that lead during installation.

    Killer RC switch problems...

Yeah I contacted Kent and he said he'll fix it no problem.

    Another dead motor

Phill2 -- makes sense. Thanks. I'm sticking with the 290 for the time being. 320 is on the shelf as a spare.

    HELP OBR 31.8CC WONT START

Flooded? Take out the plug, turn it upside down, pull the starter a few times and see what comes out. If that doesn't work OBR has an instruction video on how to de-flood their engines by removing the carb and starting it. It burns any gas in crankcase but doesn't last long enough to cause any...

    Killer RC switch problems...

OK so I found the problem. The red ignition wire that is soldered to the Killer RC board had come off somehow. One thing I learned in all this: check your kill switch before every run! If leads come loose like mine did (or the spade lug connections to the ignition coil) you will not know it...

    Killer RC switch problems...

I posted this in the @Killer RC vendor area but seems no activity there since 2015... so putting it here too: I have two killer rc kill switches that were bought from DDM in the past couple months. I'm trying to get it working on my Losi 5T but it never cuts the motor, ever. Even when the...
