    Got The Donk Now What!!

I want to. I'll have to check things out and try and get one cheap. I mentioned to Detroit Perf. that a roller would've been better, and John he said he could probably do that for me. Hmmm....

Yeah the TLR 5iveB/5t 2.0 are good brakes, and a good cheap(er) option

    Parts to upgrade on 5B

Right ok, just thinking of a cheaper option to try out one day. VRC are always solid with all their pipes. Olimat is cheap for me too being in Oz Stick with what you know works is always a good start 😅

    Got The Donk Now What!!

Yup, the best in my eyes as i've never run ALX so i have nothing to compare tem with 🤣🤣 I wouldn't mind a Vesla to tinker with, it is a new platform afterall, but unless one of few 1/5 shops here jump on board, then it probably won't happen. Will cost a fortune with shipping and taxes to Australia

    Reps 5t 2.0 v2 build thread

Thought i would chime in, in regards to the TR airbox. The Taylor intake is a very good option. Very light, gets the filter up in the cold air away from the cage, and doesn't restrict air flow in any way. The TR box is shite, it's heavy, and places stress on the carby and manifold, there's so...

    Losi 5ive t conversion 2.0 to 1.0

The driveshafts are only part of the problem with the 71. You also only have a 4mm pin on the diff pinion gear, and you can't upgrade the diff ring gears. Keep your wallet full of cash for constant driveline repairs

    Losi five-t 2.0 big bore!!

It depends on the engine. I only have experience with Taylor big bores so can provide a bit of info on them. Regardless of which big bore, you will need alloy diff cups and diff housings/bulkheads to stop the flex which causes the gears to crunch and strip, along with the ModifiedRC centre diff...

    Difference between HPI & Rovan

HPI have a serial number on the battery/receiver box. This is only a sticker so it could fall off, however, if there's a small rectangular smooth spot on it, then that's where the sticker was. HPI front upper and rear upper rod ends are gun metal/grey colour, but i think that was copied too...

    Bobby’s xr5 ultimate

Sure is bigger, with a wheelbase of 620mm, same as the 5iveT All the "max" line of MCD rigs have a 620mm w/b

best large scale all rounder for bashing and racing

I think the main reason silenced pipes aren't as loud is largely due to them having a low pitched droaning sound, as opposed to a high pitched crackling sound, they're just much friendlier on the ears. That's what i've noticed anyway

    M.O.D clutch

Then i would be going with a "set and forget" steel clutch. FS racing shoes and spring of your choice, or the UFC steel clutch

best large scale all rounder for bashing and racing

Yeah going by that then deffo the 5iveT, Losi 5iveT that is lol. While the clone 30n "fiveT" is alot cheaper, it isn't as good quality, namely the drivetrain isn't as strong, and the engine is cheap Chinese and not quality Japanese Zenoah The 30n rig is a good option if you were to be doing a...

best large scale all rounder for bashing and racing

After owning both my choice would be the 5iveT. Yes it's robust, it's as tough as they get. Plenty of parts support and an endless list of aftermarket parts/upgrades too. Maybe not a world championship winning race rig, but deffinitely the best allrounder hands down imo The MCD's certainly look...
