Thoughts on the MCD RR5 Max?

Get the ultimate if you can swing it. The diffs alone are very expensive and worth the upgrade.

Help choosing a big bore engine

Km trans case will be perfectly fine, if your using a km diff it will fit, but as far as strength not likely to hold up. You can get the regular kraken spider gears and be good, I have those in my 96 baja so far no issues on 6 tanks. The km trans cases generally don't fit other diffs well...

Help choosing a big bore engine

I'd get a tr or Taylor quickdiff, as long as you have the alloy diff, the hpi stuff will handle the 46gt. They can usually handle anything 50 and below. Certainly never hurts though to upgrade if you can to the blackbone setup

King Motor EVO vs HPI Flux

Certain hpi parts like plastics and the internal gear sets are alot stronger. Definitely would go hpi with the minimal coat difference

flm extended arms vs kraken X2E

Flm is certainly stronger bar none, lots of pros and cons to both. Personally I'd go flm with a bigbore as the plastic arms can have more flex. With that said, I am running kraken arms on My baja with the scott finlay rc50 and have had good luck, but it's a field Basher, if I was going to be...

Help choosing a big bore engine

Stay with the wj146 bigbore carb on these. They run so much better than the 990/1107 style carbs. if I were you snag a 40gt now with all the options as everyone of them is beneficial, billet head is the least beneficial but is worth while still. I say snag a 40gt because once you get one...

Help choosing a big bore engine

On any Taylor bigbore go with the 62mm clutch, we'll worth the extra cost, even for the 40. Weight wise, they are all very similar, can't say exact weights but very marginal I'm sure.

Help choosing a big bore engine

You havr alot of options, all good. Your service from both will be great either way. One of my favorite smaller cc engines is a 40, I have quite a few videos of mine on my YouTube. To me, 46gt isn't an option, very similar characteristics of a 50gt, so just narrow it down to a 40/50/63. The 50gt...

Most powerful engine for a 5ive T 2.0 without demolishing the drivetrain?

46gt was awesome, not many gas engines are going to give you the power to wheelie on command without going to a big cc. This was build to be light as possible and handle the power well with limited upgrades and it did just that. It could slap wheelie amazing, and under some conditions would...
