    Remote Controlled or Radio Controlled?

Many call their TX a controller or a remote. But technically remote control denotes a wired control box.

    Dynamite Killswitch

I've had a killer bee die fairly quickly. I've also had a dynamite die in less than a year. You pay your money and take your chances. Both failed safely though so not a horrible situation if one does die.

    Rovan new monster truck

I bought the boy one late late sumer 2014, rear center shaft broke 3rd tank as I started getting the engine dialed in, clutch was gone before the end of the 5th tank. Due to many fittment issues as parts wore I bought a 5ive B kit and rebuit the whole truck with Losi TLR parts. That truck still...

    Rovan new monster truck

Looks to be based on a 5ive chassis not the DBXL platform. Maybe if it was $7-800ish for a roller?...

    RCR brakes on a 5T 2.0?

The stock 5ive B setup has steel disks and steel pads with pad material bonded to them. RCR is just a bronze alloy pad and steel disks. I believe the 5ive B setup is closer to MIP/Axis in feel and function at a much lower price.

    RCR brakes on a 5T 2.0?

Which did you go with? I did MIP/MOD on my first truck and 5ive B on my second truck both V1s. Considered doing Axis for the second truck but decided to save some coin and glad I did.

    RCR brakes on a 5T 2.0?

Still think one would be better off replacing with new stock parts than down grade with RCR.

    RCR brakes on a 5T 2.0?

RCR seems a step backwards from 5ive B setup, jmho.

    Upgraded transfer port covers?

Ive been running VRC big bore silenced for years, but just picked up a VRC 32cc non silenced last week. It came yesterday, and I cant wait to see if I have been sacrificing power for quiet.

Anyone make a single servo cnc tray setup if you just want one servo?

Well, just like every servo company there are some budget servos that really suck! I put some hs-85bb servos in a heli once thought they were fine till I upgraded to Futaba S3155 what a difference, so much more precise.

Anyone make a single servo cnc tray setup if you just want one servo?

I've been running a Hitec SGT1000 for 4-5years 12-15gallons of run time and it has been an awesome setup. I did send it in two years ago for MOD bullet proofing, it came back with minimal play in the gear train and has continued to be rock solid. My other truck has an older single 845 that has...

    Hobbie Monopoly

This is nothing new, I've watched it happen time and time again since the late 70's. It always ends badly for the hobbyist, loss of innovation and selection.

    Just blame the mfg??

Hair spray or hair gel are the answer. It holds the tires in place but does not harm the wheel or tires when the time comes for removal.
