I have a zen 29 4 bolt in my bug and it works fine. It is race ported by Steve Backland ex British Champion and goes like a bat out of hell! The Zen 32's don't fit due to a larger casing but I am sure they can be made to fit.

Done a bit of a mod with the rear suspension and it is loads more responsive........no more saggy arse end lol! You can see the difference from the OEM shock position to the new more upright position. I reckon the handling is going to be much improved.

One for all members on LSF.

Its all about the noise, smell and mechanical sense of occasion. Electric may be faster, cleaner, etc but there is nothing like seeing a large scale petrol car giving it the beans.

    Help with rear suspension setup

The problem is partly to do with the angle of the shocks. If you take a look compared to the front socks they are much more upright which is better for off road set up. I am going to make some brackets for mine to fix to the rear shock tower and give the more upright mounting position.
