I recently replaced my clutchbell, clutches, gear carrier, and clutch bell. I have it all back 2gether and it starts right up. But when I give 'er gas she moves a little and that's it. If I give it a lot of gas it barely moves. I u take 'er off the ground and give it gas it's normal...what...

I finally took her apart yesterday to see what was sticking. Come to find out that somehow one of the brake pads got hot and glued itself to the gear carrier plate. Took a small screwdriver and carefully pried it off and now it's running fine. So thanks to everyone for their help.

Trucked flipped and landed on the left wheel (standing behind it) and now won't move without force. The small pinion gear outside looks like it can spin but the big one is locked up. Any idea what it can possibly be b4 i start to take her apart? Thanks.

My other friend has a CY (I believe) that came in his King Motors Baja and out of nowhere the head just cracked but he really liked that engine. I guess my friend's 30+ lb. Redcat is maybe just not geared or tuned right...I was just curious. Thanks for the replies.

A friend bought a new Redcat MT with the CY 29 and i was not impressed at all with the speed. When I got my used FG MT I instantly knew it was faster than his. I know that his truck is heavier but figured the motor would even it out. Just curious if the Zenoah is as strong as the CY 29.

Jeez...85 oz-in vs 403 oz-in. That's the servo that came with it when I bought it last summer (used) and it worked fine until the pipe, carb and gear changes. I'll definitely look into that too. Thanks.

Yes..the regular stock brakes. Since I put the 8,000 clutches, changed the layshaft gear, and changed the pipe it doesn't want to stop at all after the first few passes.

Does the MT's brakes have to be adjusted with the motor out of it? Thanks.

Yeah I looked it up already and it has 236 0z.-in.@6V and yes it is 1/4 scale. It did a good job until it took a dump.

I broke that same cup but got a replacement one from DDM.
