    lightened flywheel ,do they work???

Mine has been run on a stock CY 26cc on an 5B, a 27.2cc reed motor, and now on my 30.5cc stuffed stroker TS reed case with custom ported head on a Redcat Rampage MT. Never any cooling issues, never any pre-mature bearing wear (you would get this if it wasn't balanced well). The Darksoul one has...

    lightened flywheel ,do they work???

I use a very light weight flywheel and have had no over heating issues. Actually there is a thread somewhere on HPI Baja Forum where someone did a back to back test and the Temp increase was only a couple degrees, even with one like mine. I have not ran a regular one on this motor so I can't say...

How To Do Whitewall Lettering On Tires And Make It Last Longer.

Good idea with the silicone. You could try and find a liquid silicone and use an artist brush to apply it just on the lettering. Wish you would have thought of this a couple of years ago when I had lettering on my BL E-Revo. [/IMG]

    Diff oil wt

What was in mine was thin enough to spill out over night when the diff that I had taken apart fell over.

    Diff oil wt

The 10k seems to work good for me. The best I can tell is that it's a little thicker than what comes stock. I like it.

    Diff oil wt

I don't know yet. I went for the thicker fluid (10k) because I run on a lot of loose surface. But for all I know 10k might be stock, but I doubt it.

    Diff oil wt

Couldn't find the answer anywhere so I got some 10k to put in and try.

    Running problems xt

After you shut it down open the gas cap and listen for a loud SHHHHHH. The tank vent might not be working right and when you shut it down the pressure pushes gas out of the tank and into the carb, flooding it.

    Clutch question

Depends on how it's driven and what kind of power is being sent to it. Quite a while though. You should be good for atleast a year, probably quite a bit longer.

    Diff oil wt

Thanks. Looking for the stock weight so I can choose what I want from there. I don't see even a locked rear diff causing cup problems with lighter wheels and tires installed.

    Diff oil wt

Can't believe I'm having trouble finding this info, but does anyone know the stock fluid weight of the rear diff oil in an MT v3? Also the front weight if it different? Thanks for the info.

Almost finshed with my MT :)

Short video: Testing the motor before I start putting everything back together again. Unfortunately the rear end fell over and most of the oil leaked out the diff. :( Anyone know the stock wt? Motor is still very rich and running around 15:1 or 20:1 oil mix for the rest of this gallon then back...
