gasket Just make sure the gasket is not hindering the flow. You may have to trim that down a little also. But it should smooth the flow of fuel and air to the motor.

check for air leaks Check for air leaks around the carb around the cylinder and head. WD 40 works good. spray it around and see if the rpm's stabalize then you have an air leak.

bug spray Just make sure you clean it all off and the paint should stick just find. When doing the final cleaning use gloves to keep the oil in your skin off or it will not come out as good.

Check for an air leak around the Carb.

Leaky Shock One way to help keep your shocks from bottoming in to add a piece of fuel tubing on the shock shaft at the bottom so when the shock compresses it does not and bottom out where the piston hits the top of the shaft seal. This is a trick that 1/10 scalers use.
