I've not had the FG Baja, but have had the Leopard. It was upgraded with Hydros and full alloy, and viscus diff. Absolutely loved it, awesome buggy.

I'm using Lauterbacher Rose Joints in my MCD. They have a small hole through the side which (if you need to) use a small screw to tighten the rose joint right up. Never had any problems after using them...

I've had FG Leo, FG Monster, Lauterbacher Super Cross and Monster. My current one is MCD Baja 1000. Hands down the Baja is my favorite. It takes a hammering. Only issues I've had is the rose joints, nothing serious just need snapping back in, but slowing replacing with Lauterbacher ones. and...

Thanks, Just to update, friend that I originally got the Leopard from really wanted it back, so I ended up swaping his Lauterbacher, which with the kit included goes from Monster to Buggy...! So unfortunately it never progressed much further than this!

Yep. I used bigger squares on my Leopard, can either get bigger squares or join two together... I did also get longer front axles..

Hi, I swapped my FG Monster Truck for a Leapoard Race with all Alloy upgrades on it... Love the way it handles but wouldn't mind having a Monster truck look to it too... So far I've modded the shell slightly, took more of the back guts out than I needed to as I was going to sit the body...
