Oh. That's a Top Gear episode waiting to happen. What would Jeremy do......?

    Project LOTUS 7

Bikers would do it because it puts the shock piston in any trapped air at full extension when control isn't as vital. Now when the (upside down) shock is compressed there's less chance of encountering an air pocket and causing the damper to become upset when you need it most.

Anyone remember the old New Era 1/4 scale truck?

Well, that's funny. New Era also had a stadium truck but it was 2wd. I emailed them at the time to see if they were going to make a 4wd version but hey said no. The chassis was all welded steel that it shared with a nascar racer they made.. It had the quick change rear end and a custom body...

Well, that's just what I HEARD. Accuracy is open to opinion. I'm temped to call them myself and ask but I know me. If they say yes my Mastercard will never forgive me.

Anyone remember the old New Era 1/4 scale truck?

Remember that old New Era truck?? Well, seems is it's not that "old". Making friends with the owner of my lhs. Turns out there's been a small rc dirt track 20 minutes from my house for the last three years. Damn I'm dense. I brought up this truck to him and he informed me that New Era still...

Baja goes 120 Miles through the desert!

All being pissed off aside, it is still kind of cool. Hard core heavy weight enduros are hard to come by nowadays. The only other enduro I really liked was by XtremeRC magazine. Can't remember all the details off the top of my head, but I do remember a Kyosho 1/8 buggy being run for 24 hours...

Baja goes 120 Miles through the desert!

"a suspension pin tha vibrated loose" I had that problem and I have accumulated probably less than a mile in footage on my Baja!!! Funny they had two of the problems that people here have as well. Makes me wonder why they didn't do this "endurance" test BEFORE releasing the product. Maybe...

Am I glad the Baja came along.

Otherwise, I would have picked up a Traxxas monster buggy. But after reading ya'llses disappointing opinions, I'm glad I didn't.

Anyone remember the old New Era 1/4 scale truck?

Yea. Enough hot for you, me, and the rest of the northern US. That's just wrong, dude. If that's a cry for help, I hear ya loud and clear.

    I want this baby!!

Funny part. I went to the MCD website to check out the specs on the Rally and looked over the Race Runner and monster truck specs as well. Not wanting an on road car myself, I then started looking at the runner and truck. There's a video of the truck going through 4 inches of snow. It was...

Anyone remember the old New Era 1/4 scale truck?

Nope. No worries there. If they aren't smart enough to get out of the way of that behemoth, then sucks to be them.

Anyone remember the old New Era 1/4 scale truck?

For 12 large, that chick in your avatar could stand to lose a few.

How come there's more cool stuff than I can afford???

Oh yea, I'm alll into the 4wd part, but the Baja has it's strengths. I wonder about that MCD though. Is the body stretched over the buggy body or is it a special chassis for the rally? I wonder how stable it is.

Anyone remember the old New Era 1/4 scale truck?

$12000???????? Hold on while I pick my jaw up off the floor.. Well, if that's what 1/4 scale has gotton to, I'll be happy with my Baja. I wonder what the cost of that old New Era truck would be nowadays.
