knowlage from my experience


1st : get a walbro caburator it will save you alot of problem.. than stock crappy ruxin stupid carb... i throw it away on the 1st when i get my mt ..


2nd : 3rd channel kill swith is a musssst or a modifiled pico switch it will gurrenty save your car when lost control...


well maybe this is me... two if the top thing i will change for sure .. for onwer like hpi baja's n also losi 5t n original fg or mcd i belive those are already with walbro so there is no needed to be worrieds.. if clone baja yes you need to change it ... but some even clone they are using walbro.. i will show some picture later once i reach my shop.... basiclly the ruxin are with metal fuel nipples with black choke level while the walbro are plastic fuel nipples n red choke level ...

Yeah, the carbs are hit and miss. I've ran some for a long time before replacing and have had to replace some sooner. It's just a tunibility issue. If it is replaced with a 668 there is no performance gain.

I like the idea of the metal fuel fittings, though. Wouldn't snap the end of the fitting off when you try to rotate it.

I've done that. I yanked the one out of the Redcat carb to replace it.

I learned my lesson when I tried to rotate a nitro carb fitting. Snapped right off.

Save your Redcat carbs for parts.

Same, but with a drawer full of factory carbs for the screws and fuel line connectors.
