2 stroke oil and ratio

On the fg start up dvd it says 25:1 but doesn't say which oil.
I have rang about 6 model shops and they all say different oils and different ratios.
I have been running venom racing oil with super unleaded at 25:1 and all is ok


Is this correct?

I'm crap at all these %'s and stuff but if 25:1 is 200ml in 5ltr of petrol then yes it's fine.

5L = 5000mL.

5000/200 = 50/2 = 25/1.

I can't say I've ever needed to know, it's always been 200ml of oil lol

or get yourself a mixing bottle its all marked out and you cant go wrong,there only a couple quid on ebay,plus you can just mix a litre

Thats what i do it makes things much easier and like you say you only mix a litre at a time so you don't have loads of mixed fuel hanging about!
