5B Baja Brake fan failure, ever run three discs instead of the two with cooling fan?

That aluminum fan shaped disc that sits between the two rotors apparently decided to fail, A portion of it is still present but some of it got twisted between the two rotors where it broke and was forced against clutch bell assembly. I was aware this was a potential failure that could happen.

Just curious if any of you have tried running with three brake rotors vs the two with cooling fan?
 
The aftermarket brakes are designed that way. 3 pads work much better than 2. Run the 3rd pad where the cooling disc normally is.
 
RCR brakes is what you want
I have those on order, 2 full sets, along with the 7075RC brake hubs, and RCMAX titanium brake backplate. I know I can remove the brake pad from the stock part but took the easy way out this time around.

That is a good idea.
