Does anyone have these?

I ordered a pair of the 8s 65-130C 5000mah for my XBE. I have read that the balance leads are wired wrong. They have 2 sets of 4s balance leads. So if you pluged them into a balance board your charger would think you had two 4s to charge in parallel but the power wires are in series. LOL. This is a big oh whoops.

Not a big deal for me, I will just rewire on a 9pin balance lead.

I will see if they are still being shipped this way when they arrive.

damn, I ordered 6 of them for my V I build. paid 65 bucks to get them here too, not good. I'll be watching this thread to see what you get from them.

Thanks for the heads up

I just ordered mine last night. I'll post pics as soon as they come in. There was stock in the US warehouse so I should have them next week.

I received the 8s packs and they are as I expected. 2 individual 4s balance leads making them not chargeable as wired.

They sure are big packs.

.

Not a big deal. I'll just combine everything to a 8s lead.

I decided to open up one of the packs to make sure all of the cells were in series and not just two separate 4s packs in series.

The good news is all 8 cells are in series.

When adding a new balance lead eliminate the center ground. Do NOT connect the two grounds together! There is 15v across them.

Those are huge! I wonder why they choose to do the balance leads that way as everyone seems to complain about it and they don't sell anything themselves to charge them.

You could only charge them if you had a balance charger that charged through the balance lead only.

I think it was an oversight.

Woo-Hoo! It worked.

Soldered on a new balance lead. Tested it on the charger. All good.

If you don't want to solder, you can just insert the pins in a 8s plug, just make sure you keep them in order.
