my ALLOY BEETLES long awaited pics

well lads here are a few pics of my monster all alloy beetle that i promised to upload,(thanks v much by the way "bigger the better" for showing me how to upload.car is standing me over 3000euro with all the alloy and all the bits and spares.well worth it though.iv got a spare zenoah engine which im sending to steves racing in the uk for some head work aka evo tuning uk,and the motor in it is a brand new cy29cc billet bling chrome stuffed stroker,fg k&n,well quick with the jetpro,im currently having difficultys with the layshaft,it does not seem to be running in even to the other bearing,just adjusted the rear brake cables,needs a cleaning though i havnt in ages. cheers lads! plus i uploaded my own car by mistake lol hence why my name is called dc2 typer man so as i had it up i decided not to delete it and show u why..and p.s spoon/mugen integra is for sale if anybody ye know maybe intrested.www.donedeal.com (the irish one)!

well jasrx it has over a grands worth of alloy on it and it is the very best of the alloy from fg themselvs.(hobbytek germany)uprights allround,all balljoints alloy,rear suspention full alloy,all alloy front end,disc brakes rear alloy,iv got megura hydrolic to fit on front,iv got 8 alloy shocks to fit didnt get a chance,will be uploaded soon.i suppose u mean(jasrx) that it also should have alloy roll cage and servo tray,i don't want too much weight either,i have a servo tray and roll cage alloy but didnt bother fitting them yet,and few more little alloy bits.. battery holder,wheel adaptors etc,
needs a cleaning badly alright shiny but sure when u drive it this time of year it is dirty straight away! will u clean it for me haha

what other upgrades would ye recomend then? PS ALL SORRY ABOUT THE CAR PIC WAS UPLOADED BY MISTAKE then i said id leave it there to show ye. i know its a model car forum,sorry again. cheers guys!

ok so this elcon rear,how does it work,what parts have you,does it eliminate the layshaft or something?

don't i need the lowere rear suspention to elcon spec and uprights too then if im fitting that?

how much would you be looking?

the alloy shocks make all the diffrence .... as for radio try mine is still standard [ but with 2 extra posts ] to stop it twisting with the servo/braking force ...

they do yes ur right,nice looking job too,must fit them they cost me 200euro for 8 great deal bought them off a guy that didnt even ever fit them,elcon!!

am i took the car for a run today and couldnt believe my eyes/ears when it snapped the clutch bell ahhhhhhh

have a new one ordered!!
all the steel gears put alot of pressure on the bell and clutch.

You can upgrade to Elcon clutch next time.
And there is the Elcon longer suspension arms if you what to go wider.

Ah yes people elcon is the only to go.
I got a elcon ball drive sytem and al rear arme in elcon.
The arms eliminate:2guns: the broken balljoints( i always broke them) that keep the arm the chassis.

Btw me really likey that blue beetle body.
Is that painted on or some kinda sticker?
With that i mean the buildngs and the lightning.

If it's a sticker: Do you have a part number?

I would suggest the Monster rear bumper and wheelie bar if you need it, will protect your pipe in the event of a crash as it looks very exposed there.

P.S get a pre-filter for the K&N cos it still lets in crap!

yes ducky ur spot on right when i ran the car on the beach i always covered the filter with a outter wear,u have to the k&n is just for road use i think.
nice bike by the way...

and amm joester that body came with the beetle a once off airbrushed body from modelsport uk,i asked them about them sinse but out of stock(that was two years ago) but i reccommend a bunch of sound guys in the uk www.rcdemon.com in the uk and there is one guy specialising in airbrushing in that shop and is supposed to be very good. i would give them an e-mail if i were you maybe,that would be my only known source at the moment.

yes true ducky that pipe looks exposed,i spose i just have to start driving it really handy to mind it(YEAH RIGHT LOL)
