What does everyone think? The rubber/plastic part between pipe and engine keeps burning off...and was thinking of using aluminum tape and zip ties....
 
Are you talking about the pipe coupler like on the Jetpro? If so, aluminum tape would get ripped up. The best bet is to order silicon tubing from a hobby site like Tower Hobbies. The blue silicon tubing is very durable and is of course heat resistant.

Now excuse me while I go smash my face on a wall for ever mentioning the name Tower Hobbies.
 
i got mine thru peter built its 5.99 a foot and have yet to burn thru it but as luck has it my brother drives a pete and had some old hose laying around the shop
