Anyone tested the actual range of the Futaba 4PM?

I have a dx5c that runs at least 10 RC's at the moment. I am thinking of trying something new to put in my Vekta.5 build. I had a Futaba 4 channel radio a few years back and liked it, so I am thinking of getting the Futaba 4PM. Has anyone tested the range? The specs say 300 feet, but that can't be right? Right?

If its anything like the 3pv you'll run out of room or lose sight of the rig before it looses range. I can go uncomfortably far with the 3pv. I'd expect nothing less from the 4pm. Heck even my 3pm from the fasst system first came out you could get stupid far away.

I was in the same boat as you. Spektrum radio. 25 ish models on it.

It hurt a bit but bought a px7 and love it.
