Anyone try to mount Losi LST shocks?

I was wondering, I had seen the FG Monster Truck with LST Shocks, and was wondering if anyone may have tried to mount a pair onto their Buggies yet? I have the chance to pick a set up for 50 bucks and would rather know if they work or not waste my money.

I've thought about it, but I'm not sure if they can take the abuse. I took the front shock off my FHMT to see if the losi would fit, but I vaguely recall the shock being much much bigger girth-wise and would rub the arm...or something like that. I'm not much help.
