Hi, :blink:

Got some Caustic Soda today from taskers £2.75
gonna get rid off that ss orange, any tips before I remove
the skin off my hands? :lol: sorry I mean remove the colour off my baja?

use the sink or a steel bucket, put a mug full of costic soda in boil the kettle pour it in with the soda, dip the parts in ,were thick rubber cloves or hang the part on some wire, oh and do it when yea mums out it can get mega smelly.
 
gloves and googles for splasing water. you only get one pair of lookers!@@!@



baby set it. once the ano starts going it can happen FAST.

Some parts will be cleared in literaly seconds, ie, 5.. 10 maybe 30 seconds. while others will take minutes and some good scrubbing.

once you see things getting black, you are loseing aluminum mass.

use water and baking soda solution to drop parts in after the caustic to nuetralize it.
